Back to school: how do I delete my class from the previous school year and create my new class?

Start by deleting your students' accounts from the previous school year:

How do I create my class the first time?

  1. Log in to your teacher account and go to your teacher interface by clicking on the yellow tab Access my class.

  2. In your teacher interface, open the Manage menu and select Manage my class .

  3. Click on the List of accounts tab and then on the white button Create new student accounts .

  4. Keep the option selected by default and click Choose this option to open the table   and enter the contact details for each of the student accounts to be created. Do not enter your students' email addresses.

  5. In the table, enter the contact details for each of the student accounts to create. Do not enter your students' email addresses. Then click on Confirm .

  6. Once your student accounts have been created, create your classroom space and add your student accounts to it.

How can I open and view digital books?

  1. In the resources directory, select an eBook and add it to your library.

  2. Go to your teacher interface and create a group.

  3. Access the created group by rotating the group icon and clicking anywhere except the dashboard button.

How can I personalize or modify the profiles of my student accounts?

  1. Go to your teacher interface.

  2. Open the "Manage" menu located in the upper right corner of the screen.

  3. Select "Manage my class".

  4. Click on the "My list of student accounts" tab.

  5. You will see all student accounts there (one account per line).

  6. In the “Action” column, open the drop-down menu for the account you want to customize.

  7. Select "Edit Profile".

  8. Make the desired changes and click “Save”.

  9. To return to the list of your student accounts, click on the name of your school and on "My list of student accounts".

  10. Proceed in the same way to change the password of the student account.

How can I log into my teacher account?

  1. Go to litteratout.ca.

  2. On the home page, click on the orange button “Teacher access to Littératout”. This will take you to the resource directory.

  3. Log in to your account: click on the "Log in" button located in the upper right corner of the screen.

  4. Enter your credentials in the connection window: enter your username (not your email address) and your password and click on the "Connect me ..." button.

Once logged in, you should see an avatar instead of the "Log In" button, indicating that you are successfully logged in.

How can I add resources to my personal library?

To be able to assign interactive activities and digital books to your students and to be able to download printable resources, you must first add these resources to your personal library.

  1. First make sure you are logged into your teacher account.

  2. Browse the resources directory by scrolling through the pages to see the various resources available.

  3. Click or tap an activity icon. This will take you to the page for that activity.

  4. Add the resource to your personal library by clicking on the "Add to my library" button. You can add as many resources as you want to your library.

  5. At any time, you can consult the content of your library by clicking or tapping on the "My library" tab.

How can I download the printable resources?
